Ryan Wholesale keeps an inventory of high grade clear Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Cypress boards and can manufacture sidings, ceilings and finish lumber to your specifications.  Some of the common patterns we run include 1/4” gap sidings, bevel siding, true center match T&G, and edge V center match (pattern #122). We’re excited to announce that as of April 2018, we are carrying an inventory of Thermally Modified wood for sidings and decking (photo above right).  This is a truly “green” product that can easily replace exotic hardwoods that come from protected rain forests in South America.  From sustainable forests of Poplar, grown and managed here in the USA, the lumber is “thermally modified” or cooked at high temperature until all moisture and sugars have been “cooked” out of the wood.  This makes the wood extremely stable, resistant to rot, mold, and insect infestations without adding any dangerous chemicals to the wood.  All natural, no chemicals, long life, sourced from sustainable forests, beautiful and a perfect fit for decks, rain screens, & sidings (and about half the cost of Ipe). Our products find their way into many of the contemporary luxury homes in Austin Texas and all across the US.  From #2 Kiln Dried Cypress to C grade Vertical Grain Douglas Fir, we can make or match any pattern.
