Timber Trusses
What is the price range for timber trusses?
Decor, style, engineering & budget drive the
design and price of timber trusses, which
typically range from $3,500.00 to more than
$10,000.00 each.
Whether contemporary, Texas ranch,
craftsman style, or an eclectic mix of your
own creation, we can design a truss system
that’s perfect for your home or commercial
project and your budget. We’ve been
designing and selling timber truss systems for
more than 20 years, so you can order with
confidence that you’re getting the best value
for your money.
Timbers & Beams
What’s the best species to use for beams?
Our stock timbers are #1 & Better Douglas Fir
in sizes from 2x4-4’ to 12x12-24’. Larger
sizes can be added to one of our regular
inbound shipments, and we can custom cut
any size timber called for in your project.
We also sell timbers in Western Red Cedar &
Cypress, as well as reclaimed timbers and
our faux aged timbers which give you the
look of reclaimed but are about 30% cheaper
than true reclaimed timbers.
If we don’t have what you’re looking for in
stock, we can get it for you!
Upper grade (ceilings & sidings)
What’s the best type of wood to use for
ceilings and sidings?
The answer depends on several factors: the
style of your home, whether you plan to stain
or paint the wood, and of course, your
budget.
Any of our team members can walk you
through the choices to decide on the best
product to use for your project.
Corbels, brackets & rafter tails
Very few details can set your home apart
more effectively than exposed rafters or
corbels, & decorative brackets and braces.
Let our team dsign and produce the cornice
product that’s perfect for your project. Our
CNC timber processor can make precision
cuts and wood joinery that will make
installation simple for any crew.
Reclaimed & Barn wood
In recent years the popularity of reclaimed
lumber and barnwood siding has expolded in
the homebuilding market.
Our team has the sources for reclaimed
material you can trust is bug and rot free
(yes, this is a problem with reclaimed
material). We also have incredibly realistic
faux finished reclaimed that is maintenance
and worry free.
Better Than Barnwood
Better Than Barnwood ® is intended to
replicate real barn wood and is a treated
product, not finished.
Most real barn wood is left raw when installed
and ours should be as well. On exterior
applications, this product is intended to be
left to naturally weather and to be virtually
maintenance free. Click the link below for
more or call us for more information on this
amazing alternative to reclaimed barn wood.
